Baked Pumpkin Donut Holes
Batter
2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoons cinnamon 1/4 teaspoons nutmeg 1/4 teaspoons ground cloves 1/3 cup canola oil 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup pumpkin puree 1/2 cup milk
For the sugar coating
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat oven 350°F.
In a bowl, whisk dry ingredients together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
Then in a separate bowl whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, egg, milk , and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Now prepare your mini muffin tin. You can use a tablespoon to measure out the batter.
Bake for 12-14 minutes.
Now we need the donut holes to completely cooled down. While they are cooling you can get the sugar coating ready. Melt butter in a bowl and let it cool. Then combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in another bowl. When everything is ready brush the dounuts with the butter then roll them in the sugar. Time to eat!
